At LoPair, we believe authentic cultural exchange blossoms through sharing daily life in a foreign home.

It all began with my own high school exchange year in Japan, where I was welcomed with open arms and discovered things I could never have learned from a distance — from cooking local dishes and exchanging ideas with host siblings, to exploring life together day by day.

That transformative experience inspired me to pursue deeper intercultural understanding. I went on to study at a foreign studies university, spent time living abroad in Germany, and ultimately founded LoPair Cultural Exchange in 2011.
