What does it cost
Program Costs
Here at LoPair we do not charge Au pairs any program fees or a program deposit, some of our International Partners may however charge you a small application fee. All Au pairs must apply through one of our International Partners or an Overseas Representative, but if you fill in our application form we will make sure that one of our accredited partners gets in touch with you as soon as possible.
Your Host Family in China will cover most of your expenses during your stay in China. In addition to food, accommodation and pocket money they will also cover the costs of your travel insurance, visa extension fees, mandarin courses, and cultural courses.
Flight Costs
So the only cost you will have is the Airfare Add-on. This amount is dependent on the length of the program you choose and your country of departure.
Other Costs
Please note that you are responsible for all costs related to creating your application materials. If required, you may also be required to make a direct payment to your local Chinese Embassy/Consulate for your application of the Chinese entry-visa. There are no hidden charges and no room and board to pay throughout your stay. You'll receive pocket money aswell as several bonuses throughout the program so when you add it all up, the cost of this life changing experience is far lower than at first glance.
